Wow! I love you! Finally, I found a story that made my dream come true – story about Malfoys adopt Harry and more importantly – about true magical house! It may seem insignificant but for me this aspect of books is very important. I think too many beautiful traits were let to waste in canon and letting magic itself to waste that way - is hurting. I enamored with all those little detail that you wrote about Malfoys’ house – about its persistent showers and parseltongue-speaking-back-rubbing-faucets, about self-adjusting armchairs and lulling beds, about its beauty. I think it’s very important for wizards to live in true magical houses. This is one of the most important aspects of magic for me – the way to let it into their lives, to accept it and be grateful. I only wish that there also were slippers that put themselves on. But persistent shower was perfect! And I like Rogers very much. “Master Harry Potter being an idiot” and then “proper wizard” made me howling with laughter. The humor is amazing. I’m so grateful for this story! I longed so much for something like this! And the next thing – Harry adopted by Malfoys – this too, I think, the most proper thing. This is my favorite theme, rivaled only by severitus. You did these scenes masterfully. I never thought Lucius was only single-minded Death Eater and just evil man. He is much more that that. Unlike many other personages Lucius and Narcissa are real magical aristocrats and I prefer to think about them as of noble persons, if a little strict in their beliefs, who try to preserve the best of true magical ways. I believe that they are caring and loving – because in all tales about magic there must be some sort of parental figures for the hero, who can support him and help him and hug him when the hug is needed. For me these parental figures are only Lucuis and Severus (and Narcissa, of course). For some reason I think that when Harry is with Malfoys, he is in good hands. That’s why I like this particular story so much. And even Harry’ “misguided stoicism” has its merits here – like contrast for all secrecy and mystery, though sometimes I wished for him to behave more like slytherin and not to be so stubborn. Oh, and Hermione that here does not plays the role of know-it-all-mother-hen who knows what is best for Harry better that Harry himself – that was a real relief. This Hermione – constructive, and not oppressive with her “the most right” opinion about everything – I can like and respect. And caring Ron. I like calm and level-headed Ron very much. Thank you for them too! Now I wish only for alive (and healthy, and well-respected, and as his usual snarky self) Severus being there somehow. *sighs* I miss him. Anyway, this is a great story. Thank you so much for it! *shyly* could you write more about incredible magical houses and good Malfoys (all of them)? Please? And about Sev? I think Harry will benefit greatly under care of… er… under proper guiding of people, who do not wish to sacrifice him “for the greater good”, but who try to keep him safe, sane and happy. For now Sev has the best score in keeping Harry alive. And whose survival technique is better that Slytherins'? And who has better magical house than Malfoys? Please?
