Very interesting chapter. There is something in the atmosphere that makes me slighlty uncomfortable on Harry's behalf, though. The family doth protest too much. There is something invasive and a bit smothering with their kindness. On the other hand, Harry needs to take care of himself and he needs some allies. Here the Malfoys are offering kindness on a variety of levels. But it also feels like it is a forced therapy set upon him. A bit like in a cult. So I'm left with this confusing feeling, hesitating between fluffy comfort and disquiet. Is there something to it or is it just because we're limited to Harry's point of view and he is reluctant to accept comfort?
It's also the only fic ever where I find the Malfoy parents likable.
