Harry just thinks too much. Why can't he simply enjoy luxury when it's given to him so freely? Even if there were certain conditions, what does he plan to do if Lucius says "We gave you luxury, now you give us what we want"? "But I didn't sleep in the bed"? And anyway, he doesn't have to do anything he didn't like, I don't think. If Lucius said something like that, he could just say that he doesn't want to and walk away. That wasn't part of the deal, after all. I also don't understand why he thinks it would corrupt him. Has he so little faith in his own strength of character? And what does he see himself do? Lie in that bed and not doing anything while Lucius does things he wouldn't like? And anyway, he is doing something in return. He is healing Lucius, and he did a Heart's Blessing spell, and while it may be routine for him, I don't understand why he doesn't understand that it's not for other people. It sounds very personal and intimate to me, and I can't imagine Emptyweed doing it for someone, especially not Lucius. I think it's a gift, to bind their lifes together like that, especially with Lucius being in danger of dying, and I totally understand the Malfoys for feeling like that. I still wonder about the heavyness of their gift... I have absolutely no idea what it could be. Draco is great, though! I can see Harry in three years, looking back at himself and shaking his head at his naivity :D
