Harry knows himself and his friends a lot better than he did. He will make compromises with them, but he won't shut up and let them trample all over him just to avoid making them a little uncomfortable.
Hermione can ask questions. What Harry doesn't want her to do is decide she knows better and start researching his past activities or something.
Just imagine what Harry and Draco will be like in ten years! 'Frightening' does not describe it.
