Harry is determined not to be used again, the way he has been by his past few lovers. If he can drive Draco off easily, he can escape that.
Hermione will probably approve of Draco taking care of Harry, just as long as he actually does that and doesn't get in his way. And Ron...I think Ron's reaction will be hilarious.
