Emptyweed is not the most likable person in the world, no. I do think that there's more to him than meets Harry's eye, since Harry dislikes him so much. Quite possibly Harry may have a chance to see that later.
The Malfoy family in this story will be very different from how I usually write them. Glad you think they're IC.
