They got distracted by sex. :) Well there is no better distraction in my book ;-} Especially the way you write it!
The one thing I thought about after reading 44 is the ability of Draco to at least try and put himself into Harry's shoes, which is a very important relationship skill. I don't think I've ever seen something similar from Harry, except when in the Brian persona, and then only to give him what he wants.
As to reintegration, I only meant it in terms of rebuilding the one true Harry, if that makes sense. I look at from the pre- and post-reverse Pensieve catharsis.
The other thing that strikes is that Draco gets the truth out of Harry almost exclusively by asking questions. He's obviously adept enough at sniffing out the lies or when a persona is stepping forward. But if Harry wanted to know more, there is only one way to find out and I'm glad that in 44 Draco suggests he wants Harry to know more about him.
Harry has lost a lot of control since beginning to come clean. It may take a long time to realize that it was all for the best, but I think he realizes it was necessary in order to have some sort of healthy relationship with Draco.
Thanks for the excellent feedback ... I do hope at some point we can return to the depths of this epic as I'm filled with such admiration for the eloquence and emotional resonance of this novel. It's funny, but I ended up reading 44 before actually seeing your reply, but I appreciate the "No Spoilers" rule ;-}
