And I think everybody can understand Malfoy in some way. Everybody has lied every now and then to make themselves appear more intersting, I think. It's not that bad, as long as you don't get caught up in the lies and don't find a way out anymore.
I can't say I pitied him. More sympathised, I think, and I wanted to hug him. A lot. But he wouldn't have appreciated that... so I'm glad Harry is there to hug him now, and to look at him.
