Yes. I was a bit hesitant to use "make love," because I've read complaints that it's OOC for men to use that term, but "fuck" really wouldn't have worked.
I never planned to give the Healers a big part in the story. Harry is going to heal in a different way, and Metamorphosis needs to be part of the healing, so I couldn't let Hermione succeed in exposing it.
Harry probably couldn't make up successfully with his friends until he managed to think he wasn't that pathetic. And he needed Draco for that. Trying might succeed now.
Hermione has a hard time seeing her mistakes because, to her, Harry is still sick, and so he needs help the same way an abuse victim or someone under the Imperius Curse needs help: even if he insists he doesn't want it.
