I was glad to read that after almost being broken to pieces of fractioned personae, Harry finally found the strength to be himself. I am was so happy that Draco and Harry made love. I noticed the choice of words - not fuck or anything else. It was making 'love', because for the first time it was the real Harry that had this experience with Draco. It was a great touch to make Harry awkward and the sex imperfect, that's what made it real.
I am happy Draco helped Harry find his center and Harry confronted Hermione. I'm secretly glad that the Healers/Harry's sanity arc didn't stretch, as it didn't feel as a part that would ultimately move the story in the main direction, more like straying aside. I feel though that there'll need to be more about how Harry communicates with his friends and finally sees that he isn't as pathetic as he considers himself. And I guess Ron and Hermione will need to be dealt with. Harry needs to make up with them on a new level, where Hermione realises that Harry is a person capable of decisions and actions, even if she doesn't approve of them. Where both Ron and Hermione understand that Harry has the right to make choices of his own without always thinking of them. After all Hermione feels it is within her right to act on her own, so she needs to give Harry the same right. I realise Hermione thought she was doing what's best for Harry, but the result was horrible, and she still doesn't see her own mistake. She still hasn't acknowledged that maybe she was wrong and acted too fast without having and considering all facts.
Another excellent chapter. As I mentioned you made some perfect choices (in my PoV) about the story and its direction and pacing.
