Trust me ... I know exactly how you feel! I was one of the worst lurkers EVER and only recently summoned the courage (and insight) to start leaving comments. I realized, albeit very belatedly, that it's probably the best, not to mention only, way for authors to truly know for a fact the impact they are having on their readers.
Lomona has been absolutely fantastic in replying to comments and providing further details and analysis and, overall, has been an absolutely fantastic virtual friend in encouraging feedback. I'm so glad I pulled the metaphorical trigger on my first ever comment and despite still not believing that it took me so long, I haven't regretted it once, since. As a fellow admirer, I hope you continue to share your insights!
