Thank you! I wrote this in parts (I kept getting interrupted) and was concerned with how well the intensity would translate from one piece to another with all the ups and downs.
I think they were equals, yes. The only way I could write a remotely non-equal story. :) They both wanted the same things. Draco didn't kidnap Harry against his will or break him with Stockholm Syndrome (I don't think I could write something like that unless it ended with character death and revenge).
