The confrontation with Kingsely was so well played out, I was shaking my fist in triumph! I'm not sure if Kingsley is more upset about Harry's antics or the fact that he has lost control of the Auror corps. Harry's acting, coupled with his convictions, was precisely what the Minister needed to hear. I hope we get a glimpse of Kingsley's chat with Ron, that would be enlightening.
This part had me in stitches: "I was right, he thought, as he saw Kingsley’s eyes widen slightly and his nostrils flare. I was right, and the risk was worth it. Draco owes me a blowjob." It is beyond hilarious that they are now taking bets on this kind of thing, and with the stakes as described.
Only Harry could put on such a masterful performance, down to the point that Kingsley might think he could become a Pink Lord (sorry couldn't resist). I wonder if Draco's tacit approval went to the point of potentially declaring war on the Ministry, but I think he might appreciate the poker-esque bluff.
I liked Draco's strategy regarding Harry's personas. I think retiring some (as Harry has already done) would be a good start, if for no other reason than to get a better control of the numbers and their ability to "escape." The other part that I don't think has be discussed so far is the creation of new ones. Much of the strength Harry draws is from personas he has created and used in the past. I'm sure that there was a time when the creative aspect was quite fulfilling, but getting Harry to integrate the personas into a more cohesive whole might just be the ticket to a happier, not to mention lucrative, future (if he stumps for MM etc.).
I wonder if Lucius spell is more nefarious than I originally feared. I'm glad Draco is being observant and will bring Harry up to date on the threat.

Appreciation in large barrels!
