That's one reason Draco's so entirely approving of the way Harry handles and runs Metamorphosis. It's giving him what Draco thinks of as tangible returns; it's more than an indulgence in his personas or a way of helping people on the sly.
Draco will tell Harry, mostly because if he doesn't, then Harry won't help him as well.
Harry may choose to go through Horace or simply to question Ron and Hermione when he tries to reconcile with them again.
