Aaarrrgh!

Okay, I want to slap Hermione. She does have a point, though she is not completely right--Harry was on the edge of losing himself, but merely having Draco, one person who understands him truly, brought him back from the brink. But no, she thinks she knows best based on her narrow little gryffindor vision of right and wrong, and that Harry cannot possibly have any legitimate reason for Metamorphosis. She's always discounted his feelings, felt that she knows what's best for him better than he does and that he "shouldn't" feel such-and-such, and what kind of friend is that? What Harry needed from her was for her to listen to him, to give him a chance to explain, and for her to be supportive (which doesn't necessarily mean that she has to give blessing to his activities, but for her to be open to them as long as he maintains balance and doesn't lose himself). But no, she has to go over his head and destroy the one thing that has kept him together for years. Yes, Harry probably should have told her sooner, and maybe she'd have been more open-minded, but I don't think she would have. She's too arrogant in her own view of what is right.

But Draco sees the benefit to Harry of Metamorphosis. I said a long time ago that Draco would understand what Hermione wouldn't, that he would be able to bring balance to Harry's life, and this just proves it. He needs Draco now, before he loses himself completely. I'm hoping that Draco will show up before Harry does something irreparable.

Harry does have some deep issues that need to be dealt with, but this is not the way to go about it.

You're evil, you queen of cliffhangers. *chews fingernails*
