What was wrong? Was Harry's reaction to the spell supposed to be like that? Or is it some psycological mess-up?

And Lucius... I do hope there, though it does seem hopeless, that there was no spell. I don't think Harry will be able to distinguish between Draco really having second thoughts and Draco under a spell. Or will he?
