I hate not being able to read new chapters as soon as they’re published because there’s always so much I like about them and want to mention on a review, but reading them all at once it’s great when each one has those kind of cliff-hangers.
(I’ll quote parts of all the chapters I couldn’t read here – I can’t not do it :P)
He seemed to believe there was something special or sacred about parents, perhaps only because he had lost his at such a young age, and he didn’t like the fact that Draco was forced to oppose them.
YES. The subject of parents will always be very important for Harry, and his point of view in the matter a little odd for other people, IMO. Loosing them at such a young age, not being loved as he grew up, and most importantly helping him during hard times even after they were dead… ‘Special or sacred’, of course.
Draco laughed and felt some of Harry’s come spill down his face. Harry laughed at the same time, and then spluttered from what he’d half-swallowed.
I loved the sex scene: hot, a little awkward and playful. I really liked how Harry was so confident while giving Draco a blowjob, yet a bit unsecured when he finished and shy when it was his turn. Oh, and I loved teasing!Draco.
Beings who devour magic must register with the Ministry and not carry wands
That was a whole new level of ‘unexpected’. Seriously, it amazes me every time how you can surprise me ::lol::
Hermione’s move was brilliant. Millicent was too (I liked how she suggested to do something Harry had thought of, even if he didn’t have this situation in mind when he started writing letters). I loved how the three of them worked: it was a team that wasn’t a team, because they weren’t really working together but they didn’t step on each other’s toes.
But he had no weapons, and meanwhile the crystallizing of his mind continued, not so much painful now as inevitable, destroying him.
Narcissa was awesome! Not for doing that to Harry but I have to admit that spell was really cool, and would have been very effective if Harry weren’t who he is. I was one of those who weren’t thrilled with the whole ‘love is Harry’s weapon’ thing, but since it was something quite important, using it in that situation worked.
“You’ll excuse me if I don’t believe that for a moment,” he said.
He knows Harry, and knows his mother :D
The ending was lovely; I don’t think Draco ever considered that kind of scenario for his confession ::lol::
