I am quite curious what Lucius has up is sleeve, for he is sure to have some unpleasant surprise ready.

I admit I am a bit baffled at Ron and Hermione's reaction, or lack thereof. I would expect that Ron's hotheadedness or Hermione's desire to confront everyone and everything and learn every motivation, would cause them to at least reply to Harry's gesture in some way, even if a negative one. The silent treatment is a bit unexpected for me. And while I think Harry should have told them before he came out in the Prophet, they still could have shown some reaction.

I am eagerly waiting for the next chapter.
