The wizarding world does seem to be a lot like that, doesn't it? It makes me wonder if one reason Dumbledore is renowned for taking on Grindelwald is that the same thing happened to him: no one else had the courage to help.

Pansy was taken off-guard, and she still thinks Harry is plotting to hurt Draco.
