Well, I do think that Harry's motives are understandable; if Draco was dead, Harry couldn't do anything for him anyway, and he wouldn't trust anyone viewing the case from a distance to grasp that it was an accident. But that part is meant to make Harry at least a little unlikeable, so I'll stop defending him. :)
