Hi, I had time to calm down and just had to comment on one more thing -
Several people mentioned that they're worried because Harry is still using a 'persona' in this chapter, but I do think that this is the real Harry.

Harry's vision of himself is screwed up - he believes that all things negative about himself is his alone, while anything positive is someone else's. I don't see the 'reassembling' as an actual reassembling, just like it's absurd that the cold, weak and open Harr(ies) are three completely separate people. Harry's resolution to make things up to Draco is his, so this part -"The new voice in his head, his own voice, speaking to him, would be the core of that persona. It could have the strength of the cold Harry, the principles that the weak Harry Potter wouldn’t surrender, and the openness of the person Draco needed." is just like any other person resolving to be strong, honest, etc.

Or at least that's my interpretation. It's rather difficult to not completely suck up your Harry's pov as truth, because he is a compelling narrator, but in the end, we need to keep in mind that he is very biased and somewhat unreliable. In possible need for therapy too. ;)

I hope Draco would come to a similar conclusion and that those two would reach a compromise that still allows Harry his fun (I'd cry if he completely retire Metamorphosis) while still functioning as a 'whole' character.

Oh and the 'purring personality'? SO CUTE. Will we get to see her again in future?
