I meant to comment on the last, utterly delicious chapter, but schoolwork rose up and distracted me....and then this chapter went and topped it

I am absolutely delighted by the complexity of the layers of knowledge within the fic, and how the balance of power shifts continuously, as more information is revealed to different "players" in the complex strategy game.

So far, the major shifts so far have been....

Draco Goes To Metamorphosis:
Harry starts out with the power over Draco, both have power by knowing that Brian & Draco's relationship is a charade.

Narcissa Figures Something Out
Narcissa gains power from Harry.

Draco Learns Harry is Brian
Draco gains power, Harry and Draco (if both work together) could potentially have power over Narcissa, who would lose the power she gained from Harry

and... if Draco sends the letter to "The Manager"...it potentiates another shift of power, depending on what he reveals (that he knows Harry is Brian, if he suspects something with Brian, etc) and how Harry reacts ...

and this isn't even takeing into the "power-shifts" from their emotional and physical relationship...

And since I entertain myself trying to figure out what your titles mean:
"Since some of the old guard"...... all I can say is, oh this is going to be good
