It would depend on whether Draco's happiness comes to mean more to Harry than his own. So far, despite the fact that complete honesty would make his friends happy, Harry has not offered that to them; they don't have a clue about Metamorphosis. On the other hand, if Draco actually seems to love him back, Harry could get caught up in it.
