very minor nitpick -- near the beginning, you mention Harry's "excuse" to stay home for the day. If Draco isn't tracking that Harry's distressed about something in re him, a more neutral word might be "explanation."
At any rate, sweet fluff -- and in this case, (which is unusual) my sympathy is ENTIRELY with Draco. I hate even accidental interruptions, like phone calls and people outside the window falling down. It's a good thing I don't carry a wand.... Draco must be far gone to have put up with that much.
