...Huh. I was intrigued by the fic idea - non-malicious!deception and secres are nice - but this is actually quite interesting. (*hee* I don't know what it is about reviewing fic by people I don't know that makes me sound so pretentious... XD) :) I enjoy the idea of Transfiguration skills being used for this sort of purpose - I was first introduced to it in a Snape/Hermione fic in which a Metamorphagus prostitute could literally become any man's dream woman, and although it unnerved me, it was also interesting. :P :)
Harry, closeted himself in a wizarding world that had proven more focused on family and less accepting of human differences than he had ever realized as a child, understood all too well. EXCELLENT line. I love how you... I don't know what the right word is, but that manages not to violate canon, and fits the canon world rather well - though JKR claims otherwise, it's rather suspicious that, in a Wizarding World that SUPPOSEDLY doesn't care about sexuality, there are about three men even IMPLIED to be gay (Dumbledore, Doge, Grindelwald), and all three of them are rather ancient. It makes sense.
And although I'm usually quite fond of Ron and would ordinarily go rabid over Ron reacting so poorly... in a highly homophobic Wizarding World, it makes sense. He is, after all, a Pureblood, and would have absorbed Wizarding World attitudes... :) So it's really a compliment to him that he accepted it after the initial 17 bottles of Firewhiskey. XD

I was just about to wonder about that. :) I can tell you've really thought this out! :D
"June the 5th is my thirtieth birthday, and I would like to make my first appearance with my new partner by my side at the party my parents are holding for me." Ooh. XD WONDERFUL touch! I think I like your Draco. XD The nice thing about post-DH fic is that it allows for the characters growing up. Thus, something that might seem OOC or too mature for the 17-year-old character are perfectly acceptable. Timeskips have that advantage. :D (So long as they don't REGRESS, such as Epilogue!Ron... D:)
