Loved this line. Canon!Harry, after all, seems more intimidated by asking out Cho. Voldemort, OTOH, he's just pissed off about. Makes sense after what he's been through it's the personal truths that scare him. Excellent insight.
Really enjoyed the way you described Harry-as-light. You're really good with describing abstraction in a comprehensible way (thinking of the Frame of Mind series).
Also loved Draco gaining confidence due to saving Harry, and how it's Draco leading now with Harry trailing behind, afraid (of himself).
