For some reason, it's fairly easy for me to keep the character issues separate in the various stories even when I'm writing the same characters/same fandom. I don't know why, other than practice.

Both characters are very strong here- which will make it all the harder for them to compromise with their weaknesses when those weaknesses are revealed.

At the moment, Harry's panicking. Hey, it's a tried and tested course of action.

If you remember, Harry Transfigured the color of his eyes and his face to hide the scar. He usually doesn't glamours because they can be taken off easily by a spell. Transfiguration's much harder to reverse, and someone would have to suspect it first.
