How do you manage to create such interesting smart insane characters? Daphne’s so… detached… I want Harry to fight her not only to save Draco, but to see Daphne’s reactions during and after the fight. Besides, she’s unpredictable when faced with new (and for her, strange) situations and I doubt she’s ever confronted someone like Harry. There’s no way to know what she’ll do.

Thank god Hermione’s there and remembered Harry’s wound. Her rationality is one of the reasons Harry’s still alive. They make a great team, her thinking and caution balancing Harry’s brute force and ‘charge into’ approach.

I can’t tell how much I like this Harry. All those emotions… he’s like a storm. Daphne and Draco (when he deals with the ‘real’ Harry for the first time) won’t know what hit them. I loved how your writing transmits Harry’s feelings: rush, rage, determination, the joy he feels fighting with everything he has.

But Harry had never confronted that desire in himself because he’d been too young and callow, and when it called attention to itself, he panicked and imprisoned it

It’s understandable, since at that time there was his connection with Voldemort and he didn’t know what the hell that implied, so anything in him that was remotely similar to Voldemort was a source of panic. It’s about time he recognised that desire and accepted it as part of him.

Can’t wait for next chapter! And Harry better be more careful, or he’ll ended up in pieces by the time he reaches Daphne (and will have to endure both Hermione’s and Draco’s lectures afterwards).
