Wonderful. This is the perfect ending to a brilliantly, horrifying story. I'm glad there wasn't your traditional 'happy ending' with everyone whole, recovered and gazing into the sunset. This ending really touched me because its so 'Real.' Its like - life goes on. There are good days and bad days but they'll always be together. I could talk about this story and the various aspects of it that I enjoyed forever - ones that made me gag, or cringe or cry or smile.
But - suffice it to say that this too measured up and actually increased the high standard of your writing. I always know that you're going to produce a work of art that will be insightful, witty, beautifully written and totally captivating. Bravo! Bravo! Bravo!
