Great chapter! I was waiting to see Hermione and Draco working together, and I wasn’t disappointed at all. They know they have to work together, so there’s no point in intentionally insulting each other or arguing about unnecessary or stupid things. But that doesn’t mean that they’ll stop defending their opinions, they are as stubborn about them as Harry is about his potion ::lol:: Still, for all their history, they weren’t awkward when Harry wasn’t there. At least, I didn’t think they were. It makes sense, in a way, because the do have some traits in common. If only their views weren’t so drastically different!

When it comes to Harry, it seems Draco and Hermione share a telepathic connection (I loved their exchanged glance!) ::lol:: They both can read him very well, and when it comes to certain things, would handle him just the same. The main difference I see is that, while Hermione does know Harry the longer, she’s prone to coddle and patronize him. Draco, on the other hand, showed a little more faith in him and is likely to choose either a harsh (though truthful) or sneaky approach.

I liked how Ginny agreed to have dinner with Harry, and was the one to ask for it (even if it was Dean’s idea). They do need to talk about what happen to get over it, and Ginny’s forgiveness will be an important factor in Harry agreeing to get off the potion, IMO. About that guilt comment… was it because of Malfoy’s hint? Of course, whether I like Ginny or not depends of how she behaves during that dinner :P

“He has house-elves, doesn’t he?”

My love for Hermione knows no boundaries XD

And until I can get rid of Daphne

Daphne enjoying Draco’s pleasure as well as his pain was unexpected, and made me like Daphne ::lol:: Now what will Draco do? By the way, was it mentioned for how long their agreement stands?

Harry tried to tell himself he wasn’t staring, realized he totally was, and blinked and glanced away

Harry’s too cute. I may not like him much on the potion, but I’m always interested in seeing the way it works, so I would love to see him in a situation where one of those emotions he suppresses should be the predominant one. Does he feel the lesser emotions stonger? Does he feel nothing at all?

“His past as a black-market brewer.” He sneaked a quick, guilty look at Draco, who wanted to snort aloud. As if that weren’t obvious!

I like how things that are terrible for Griffindors are normal, obvious to Slytherins XD

I’m not overly concerned about the death (I have faith in the potion), more intrigued about how they’ll deal with the problem. And I can’t wait to find out :)
