I'm wondering if some of Ginny's "sources" aren't from Diggory and Nott. Hmm? They talk to Ginny, convince her that Harry is going to be risking his reputation for Malfoy (who as all Weasleys' know, is a horrible, awful person for having been born with that name attached to him. So then Ginny goes in to stir things up since they might have figured that the plot with male!Nott would fall through. Hmmmmmm. Possibilities. Possibilies.
