This chapter literally took my breath away. Your writing is, as usual, so beautifully compelling. Richard is soo incredibly creepy. I know you said that his priority is the creation of the perfect maze. But it seems to me that if his intentions were so altruistic that he would sacrifice himself.

This is a marvelous story. Quite a departure from others of yours that I've read but just as intriguing. Looking forward to the next update.
