I love the method Harry used to bring Draco back, appealing to Draco’s curiosity. I wonder if he knows what it means that he was willing to share so much of himself to Draco. After all, he’s a very private person, even with his friends (for example, he never told them he liked Cho, they found out because he was pitifully obvious :lol::).
You always manage to show Harry’s feelings through the tone of your writing. I could feel Harry’s panic, his forced calm, his frustration, his determination, and finally his relief when Draco reacted. That’s why I like when you write emotionally charged chapters :)
Damn, what did those abbreviations mean? If they ever got back to the surface in one piece, Harry was taking time to write out the words in full, instead of abbreviating them a.p. and o.y. They could mean anything. They could contain the seed of an answer, but how in the world was he to know that when he scribbled them down carelessly and forgot the meaning the next night?
That was one of my favourite parts, it’s so real. Maybe it wasn’t supposed to be funny but I couldn’t not laugh, because it’s so true! When I take notes I always use abbreviations that later I don’t understand, and still keep doing it ::sigh:: Guess I’ll never learn.
