I agree that Draco has been tortured more than he ever could have deserved. Whether other people would agree with that is an open question. (Does suffering make up for skinning someone alive? On the other hand, how do you make up for it?) I'm glad it's affecting you emotionally, though; it's definitely meant to!

I'm glad that you like the characters, as well. I've had some people say they had to quit reading, and I perfectly understand, but I hope others will want to follow Harry and Draco until the end.
