Glad you liked the room. I planned for it to utterly frightening at first, but then realized those torments wouldn't really work on Harry as I've characterized him. But it could be a chance for him to be strong and support Draco again.
Harry has no chance of escape, and he doesn’t even realise it).
Harry is not, at the moment, confident they'll emerge from the maze alive, so he's not fighting very hard. He does think of it strictly as a temporary thing.
One of the most frustrating things about Draco's silence is that he can't express himself about most things that aren't immediately relevant to the maze. This was a chance for Harry to hear a bit of that.
Harry and Draco really are disturbingly close, aren't they? :)
