Can I just say that after all I've read and all the gruesome challenges/ tortues that Draco and Harry have been through/ fought; this one bit - "Harry patted his side soothingly, and then winced as his fingers sank into flesh as soft as a fungus." really creeped me out. The thought of anyone's skin (especially my beloved, vain, arrogant Draco) being as soft as fungus is really disgustingly gross to me. (Good writing :P ) As for the pensieve memories - can I just say eewww! I agree with the earlier comment that its harder to see Draco torture someone than to see him being tortured. I'm glad that Harry is able to distinguish between the man that Draco used to be (the man who could do those horrific things even while convincing himself that they were for the greater good) and the man that Draco is now (interesting that Harry calls him 'his Draco'). I'm glad that Harry is beginning to see that he needs to be a little more open with Draco with regard to what's going on in his head. Can't wait to see Draco's reaction. By the way I absolutely love the idea of the communication sphere. Very cool!!!
