I don't generally come out of lurking very often, but I just had to say how much I enjoyed this chapter. This entire story thus far, really. The potion theory and brewing detail in specific really does it for me. The brewing scenes make an orchestra play in my head, which strangely enough does not make it difficult to focus on the words. Perhaps my brain is just used to noises.

I am adoring Draco (which is nothing new, really, just saying) and finding his excitement very infectious. The debate with Hermoine had me giggling. In general I get a real kick out of anyone who can beat her at something.

As for the secret, I am having a grand time trying to figure it out. So far I have nothing concrete or worth mentioning. Looking forward to more hints to see if I can wave the few threads I have together.
