Before the baby Malfoys turned feral they reminded me of the Taltos(from 'The witching Hour' by Anne Rice). Sweet, gentle creatures but with no concept of right or wrong, which is kinda like the baby Malfoys.

That cliffie is indeed evil, and I suspect Harry might lose some important bits of anatomy. Am eagerly awaiting the next chapter!
