My god, I am so sorry. I'm grateful he's doing better, and hope he continues to do so. *hugs*

And thank you so much! I think the story would have been false if it tried to play down Harry's recklesness. It's not only a large character flaw, but a huge obstacle to any permanent relationship, as of course I'm hoping the one at the end of the fic could/will be.

I thought about having the centaurs actually kidnap Lydia at first, but this worked out so much better. (And I wanted to show some more insight into centaurs than just where they lived).

I definitely prefer stories where they complement each other, not complete each other, because if you have to find completion in another person, you're not whole to begin with, and that doesn't bode well for a relationship.

Yes. I can read fics where they complete each other as fantasies, but I never believe in them. The ones that make me laugh and cry are the ones where they can stand on their own two feet, but they do it better with each other.

Harry should have reflected on his responsibility for driving away his partners long since. But, you know, it is Harry. :)

Draco is already counting all the advantages he got from this, I'm certain.

I'm so glad this fic helped, and I hope your fiancé- and you- continue to get better.
