-Even if it wasn't you (I mean, you as a writer who has work I respect and enjoy to read) I would have read pretty much any disfigured!Draco fic. Apparently I have a kink.
-I love your Harry(s). I hope you don't mind me saying that sometimes I have a little bit harder time liking your Dracos. I always feel that he's very believable, and believable that Harry falls for him, just not sure I love him personally. (A clarification: I don't think it's a requirement of good writing that central protagonists be likable; it's just usually my preference as a reader). But in this fic some of the qualities I sometimes find off-putting--his possessiveness and his arrogance--really made him that much more appealing. I think it was because he doesn't have that high of an opinion of himself in this fic, so that his bursts of Hello-I'm-Better-Than-You-Draco-Malfoy were shining moments for him.
-I had wondered how much you consciously noticed the public opinion thing, actually. I think the best themes are often those we return to unconsciously, because they are fundamental aspects of ourselves and the world that can never be explained in one word or millions, but only in fragments and whispers.
