I'd say the interaction and growing trust between Harry and Draco is the theme of just about every story I've written, but it's true that this one was more tightly-focused than normal.
Heh, I know what you mean. It was Raphael in my original plan, but I scrapped that pretty quickly. I'm not sure there will be a sequel, though; I like the imagination part most.
*nod* Raphael is, I think, a good person, just not a nice one. And even if he had been the one who cursed Draco, they really needed something more than shaky evidence that Raphael could explain away and Draco's suspicions about his voice, which changed as time went on. It was more a case of Draco reacting violently to the first person he'd seen in two years who had a negative personal reaction to him.
