First of all, GREAT CHAPTER. Harry is soooo weighed down with guilt over George's death. It absolutely has to come out - and I'm thinking sooner rather than later. And unfortunately I can't see Ginny being sensitive or unselfish enough to understand why he did it. I'm sure she (and the rest of the Weasley's) will see it as the worst betrayal. Add to that the growing distance and I'm wondering if she's even going to want to try to save their marriage. Of course I can also see her bitterly refusing him access to his children if they do split. (I'm getting ahead of myself and you too I'm sure.... and probably wwwwwwwwwwwwwaaaaaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyy off base). The dragon scenes were brilliant. I'm wondering if Draco's performance during the battle and the fact that he saved Harry's life will soften Hermione's position toward him at all. I know she's never going to approve of or understand Harry's attraction (him being married to her husband's baby sister and all) but I can see her trying to appeal to Draco to remove himself 'if he really cares about Harry.' I'd love to see that confrontation. "Harry shuddered twice, a low whine rising in his throat, tears prickling against the outside of his eyelashes. He didn’t want to be in love with someone other than Ginny. He could envision the troubles this would bring, and he didn’t want them.
Not this, not this on top of everything else!" This was so well written. My heart aches for Harry. He's so used to denying himself and his own happiness for others. Now he's put Draco in that category also. Of course we know that Draco is not going to stand for it. Can't wait to see what happens next.
