This is such an incredibly emotionally intense chapter! (And TWO updates in one day! I thought I was seeing things... I love getting your updates so today has been quite wonderful!)
This story has certainly not been the same as others covering this time frame. I must admit I really like how you handled this bit better than JKR. It was a massive copout for Dumbledore not to tell Harry that he had to die and to pawn it off on Snape. I also like that you have Dumbledore doing much of the Horcrux destruction work rather than making children who have no idea what they are try to hunt for them. I love that Snape is so observant to Harry's moods... as a spy of many years he should be very observant. The ways that you characterize Snape fit his "profile" much better than JKR's book 7. She gave us a very brave, silent suffering hero but never used him to the fullest. She should have shown more of the conflict and drama he went through- it would have been much more interesting than the camping.
Loved this update it was really emotionally affective and effective.
