It's been eleven years since Hogwarts. Harry (and Draco, who is a secondary character) are 29 now. Believe me, they're mature enough. :)
I agree, though, that I find a lot of cross-gen pairings unconvincing in the Hogwarts era, unless it's a deliberately fucked-up pairing.
Lots of art, yes, but also lots of predators. They're the main reference because of the title.
