Sounds like a good fic, but honestly, I'm much more fascinated by "A Black Stone in a Glass Box." Then again, just because this story doesn't grab me in my new-magic-ennui-Draco-ancient-story-origin place, doesn't mean it won't be good.

Also, if you actually wrote everything on your once-had-an-idea-about-it master list, I would bow at your feet, and then send you cookies. So, whether this story happens or not, it sounds fun. And I'll surely read it.
