I don’t have much to say about this chapter. Not because it wasn’t perfect, but because it was so cute it’s hard to think over the ‘Awwwww’ echoing in my head.

I wasn’t expecting Harry to ask Draco to call him by his name and realised his feelings for Draco so soon, much less at the same time. However, now I can’t think of any other way more perfect than this :) It doesn’t matter that Harry doesn’t know what to do with the knowledge; I don’t even care if he does something stupid (unless it involved risking his life). Just him getting over his denial was enough.

All the gifts were wonderful. I’d love to have a tiny dog (its description really remind me of Draco) but right now, I need a gift like Hermione’s. I loved both of them, the dog for the thought behind it and the notebook for the usefulness. I wasn’t surprised Draco didn’t buy a gift for Harry. At first I was expecting one, but then I thought… well, with the way things were, and Draco’s personality, it was unlikely. However, I doubt Harry ahs any objections :P Tough maybe Draco would have agreed even if Harry had asked him under any other circumstance.

“Ah, Draco.” Narcissa had a smile in her voice, which Draco would have objected to, except that he thought he had embarrassed himself quite enough for one day. “I’ve been through the same thing myself, though I was younger than you were. Of course.”

You know I loved Narcissa, right? And I feel a little bad for Draco, having a mother that perceptive must be hard sometimes :D

He got up to take some healthy exercise instead, which was not pacing in front of the fireplace. Not at all. Only people jealous of his grace and beauty would say that.

Somehow, Draco doesn’t do denial as well as Harry. He was really cute in this chapter.

I have to give him something. I want to give him something. I want to give him something so badly that I have to.

This was very powerful. And it made me want Draco to give Harry something as badly as Draco wanted.

The words seemed to open a trap beneath him, so that he fell down and down and landed at the bottom of a pit with reality written on the walls.

I loved that. Seriously.

Looking forward to next chapter :)
