That's not exactly what Harry meant to do when he sent the sundew- itself an odd sort of plant to heal someone- but he was sure glad of the result. :)

I read about sundews a while ago, and the magical idea came to me then. I was so glad I got to use it.

I'm thinking that other people did know of Harry's feelings for Draco, but it happened so slowly that they had time to get used to it.
