Hmm, may I suggest Aidan Lynch's Unthinkable Thoughts (http://www.fanfiction.net/s/448652/1/Unthinkable_Thoughts) which isn't exactly creature H/D but they are soul mates and it's very well-written, thought out and long. It's a fantastic read if you haven't already come across it before...=)
