“You cannot stay in the school and keep my wand from me,” said Dumbledore, his eyes darkening. I liked this line. I definitely felt the intensity of the situation.

“That’s it,” Harry said, though his throat felt cramped and the corners of his eyes were stinging. “We’re going.” This was a bit of a heartbreaker but it does summarize a good portion of his mentality.

And Harry! Oh how, I am fond of Harry.

Yeah, I need protection, but I think Professor Snape and Draco and Mrs. Malfoy can provide that.” He hesitated, suddenly realizing that he hadn’t asked them. “If they’ll go with me.” . Lots of love for that line. And: I’ll manage everything, sir. Just stay here and get a new wand and be the Headmaster that Hogwarts needs you to be.” I don't think Harry intended to sound patronizing about the last line. Okay, maybe a little bit. But that line cracked me up.

Severus was about to answer, but the staircase brought them around a corner then and in sight of—something he did not want to witness. Lol! And this is coming from a man who lurks around hallways and finds any excuse to take off points from students. But then again, I don't think he ever saw a Slytherin and a Gryffindor making out in public. And the fact that Draco and Harry bear such a strong resemblance to their fathers... well, enough said. (I was slightly disturbed by the part in DH in when Harry noticed that he could pass as his father's twin.)

He was going to war at last. Great chapter conclusion.
