Harry, unfortunately, did not like to receive the news that he wasn't alone any more, and Snape spread it in about the worst possible way. Draco, Ron, and Hermione were the ones who needed to make up for Snape's mistake.

And now that they've done that and made Harry about as receptive as he could be, it's up to Snape.
